Cook Children's Health Plan provides essential coverage to low-income people who qualify for government-sponsored programs such as Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The Health Plan is a managed care organization established by Cook Children's Health Care System in 1998 to help provide health insurance benefits to underinsured and uninsured children within our community.
Children enrolled in the Cook Children's Health Plan are assured timely access to necessary medical care, including preventive services like well child visits and immunizations. The staff of Cook Children's Health Plan works hard to provide exceptional customer service and education for members to ensure they receive all the benefits and medical care needed.
