Dr. Olvera received her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her pediatric residency at Texas A & M University College of Medicine, as well as a fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Olvera attained her board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in 2000 and became board-certified in Hematology/Oncology in 2004. She is married and has four children (two sets of twins).
