Dr. Janke attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed a pediatric residency at Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi where she served as chief resident for six months. Afterward, she stayed on to become a project director for its outreach clinic in Robstown, Texas. In 1988, she moved to Denton. Dr. Janke is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Texas Pediatric Society and the Texas Medical Association. She's the former president of the Denton County Medical Society and is serving as Chief of Pediatrics for Denton Regional Medical Center. She enjoys working with children of all ages and is interested in asthma, learning and psychological disabilities. She's married and has two grown daughters who are studying to be doctors.
