Dr. Squiers joined Cook Children's Denton in 2001 after 19 years of practice in San Angelo, Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Society of Adolescent Medicine and of the Christian Medical Association. After medical school at Howard University in Washington, D.C., he completed his internship, residency and adolescent medicine fellowship in Denver at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center. He is interested in health care for teenagers, children with attention and learning disabilities. Dr. Squiers has four adult children. He and his wife are members of the Denton Bible Church.​
