Dr. Murphey completed a medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. His residency was completed at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin and his fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He is the Medical Director of Cook Children's Infectious Disease and is currently President of Medical Staff, Cook Children's Medical Center.
