Your opinion means a lot. We'd love to hear your thoughts on how we're doing.
Dr. Rafati joined Cook Children's Southwest Clinic in 2013 after moving from Texas Children's Pediatrics in Houston. She believes practicing pediatrics is a privilege and a joy. Dr. Rafati sees the care of a child as a partnership between doctor and family. During your visit, she will take the time needed to listen and discuss the various aspects of your child's growth and development. Her particular interests include sleep, nutrition, newborn and infant care, asthma and allergies, and behavior.
Dr. Rafati completed her undergraduate training at Harvard University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. She then completed her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. In her residency at Texas Children's Hospital she was selected as a Neonatology Chief Resident in her third year because of her knowledge and leadership.
Outside of work Dr. Rafati spends her time with her husband who is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Cook Children's and their two active children.
