In 1993, Dr. David graduated from Bowman-Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem N.C. He completed his internship and residency at Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1996. Dr. Goff also served as neonatology chief resident at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston in 1996 and was chief resident at Texas Children's Hospital and Ben Taub Hospital in 1997. Dr. Goff is board certified in pediatrics.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, as well as reading, running and boating. Dr. Goff is active in his church.
