The Matustik Family Health Library is a special place for families and patients. Helping families make the best possible health decisions begin by putting the best possible resources at your fingertips.

You will find understandable, up-to-date health information on many topics from parenting to pediatric illnesses. Library services are available to all Cook Children's patient families. You do not have to be staying in the medical center to receive information from one of our staff members.

Library resources

At the Matustik Family Health Library you can:

• Request a health information packet prepared just for you
• Get help from a librarian or volunteer.
• Find facts about health topics in English and other languages.
• Use a computer and printer.
• Borrow books.
• Enjoy a quiet place to read and relax.

Library hours and availability

• We're open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• You can contact us by phone during business hours by calling 682-885-3060. We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
• We can email or send information to you at home at no charge. Request a health information packet prepared just for you.
