A personalized, comprehensive program to help with your questions and concerns about parenting a newborn.
Having a new baby in the house is an exciting, and generally, very happy time. It can also be a time of worry and fear. Am I doing everything right? Are they going to be ok? This and many other questions cycle through the minds of new parents. I have found that for my patients (and for me), there are two major ways to combat the anxiety:
- Quick access to someone who knows the right answers
Newborn University is a program designed to help you with the stressful parts of parenting a newborn to let you enjoy all the fun parts. Let's get started!
Newborn University 101
A collection of my writing on the most common medical issues that have been brought to me in my pediatric practice. They will hopefully arm you with good information, so you won't have to worry in the middle of the night.
Newborn University 201
An in-person class or consultation held with me in my office prior to your baby's delivery. I want to answer any questions you have, as well as, address some of the most important issues to me. This will also give you a chance to get to know me before you commit to using me as your baby's pediatrician.
Newborn University 301
The last and most important step to this program. It gives you unique access to me as your baby's pediatrician. We'll connect through Cook Children's patient portal in a way that allows me to respond to any questions or concerns quickly.
