Understanding your tests
Once your child's tests have been completed, the doctor who referred you or the cardiologist will evaluate everything to determine your child's condition.
Depending on the type of test ordered, the doctor who referred you or the cardiologist will go over the test results and the resulting diagnosis. In some cases, additional testing may be necessary and the doctor will discuss why. Once all testing is complete, the doctor will talk to you about all of the treatment options, including risks and potential outcomes. Having a complete and clear understanding of the test results and what they mean can help you make the best treatment choice for your child.
