Cook Children's Medical Center and the Muscular Dystrophy Association recognize the challenges of families living with MD.
Two support groups have been developed to help kids, teens and parents gain support, express their feelings about their illness, and learn new approaches to living with the various diagnoses under the MD umbrella.
In addition to providing resources and guidance, our support meetings feature speakers for parents, activities for teens, and activities for children.
