Cook Children's Transport team helps the hurricane evacuation efforts
Cook Children’s sent its King Air B-200 critical care transport airplane to Galveston and both the airplane and its Bell 222 helicopter have been involved in moving patients for hurricanes Ike and Gustav. Cook Children’s aircraft are equipped for transport of critical care patients, supporting technology and highly specialized nurses and technicians.

"The entire experience at Cook Children’s was caring and helped to ease my worry. From the transfer all the way to the dismissal my son was treated like a child of their own. I am so thankful for Cook Children’s."
Tara, mother of a patient
