Cook Children's University
Cook Children's University provides employees a comprehensive approach to meet the diverse educational needs of our complex health care system. University offerings include an extensive clinical orientation, continuing professional education, management and leadership development, professional development, computer training, preceptor development, and more. To enhance the learning opportunities for our staff, we have joined a consortium of children's hospitals in offering on-line learning activities through CHEX Knowledge Exchange.

Presidents’ Scholarships
In keeping with Cook Children’s mission, vision, and values, the Presidents’ Scholarship establishes a legacy for health care through academic advancement.
In 2008, Cook Children’s awarded 10 scholarships to children of full-time Cook Children’s employees. Each recipient received $5,000.
