To provide an optimal learning experience, we offer a combination of instructor-led and computer-based training for our patient care providers during Patient Care Orientation. Below is a detailed schedule for Patient Care Orientation. If you wish to have notes for the speaker’s presentation during class, you may click the title and print the handout.
Healthcare providers who administer medications must score 100% on a medication calculation test prior to administering medications. If you wish to begin practicing for the test, you may print the practice problems. However, you will have time to complete the problems in class several days before testing. You may also wish to review the Medication Administration policy, which describes the process for testing and provides other helpful information. You may use a calculator on the test, so please bring your calculator with you to orientation.
