School nurses

Today's school nurse in the primary and secondary schools faces many unique challenges.

As part of our promise to improve the health of every child in our region, Cook Children's is pleased to partner with school nurses. It is our hope that together we can meet the region's growing pediatric health needs. Below you will find health resources and information to help you meet your everyday challenges.

Continuing Education

Cook Children's offers summer symposiums and webcasts in the spring and fall specifically for the school nurse. We also offer community courses to meet the needs of children in our region. Student and Family Resources

School nurses play a key role in helping students and families find and access community resources. Cook Children's is pleased to provide you with documents and websites to assist you in that role. Go to Student and Family Resources.
