Cook Children's Emergency Department is supported by one of the country's largest pediatric transport programs. More than 2,000 children are transported to Cook Children's Medical Center annually, most for critical care.
Our doctors are specialists in the health care of infants, children and adolescents. Our team includes board-certified pediatricians.
Dr. Davis completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University, Dallas and received his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas. He completed his pediatric residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Dr. Davis is board certified and a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Evans earned her medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. She completed her internship, residency and became the Chief Resident of Pediatrics at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center, New Orleans, Louisiana. She is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Evans' professional interests include childhood obesity and expanding health care access to underserved children.
Dr. Philipp earned her osteopathic degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth. She completed her residency training in child health at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Columbia, Mo. She is board certified, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Wineriter earned her medical degree and completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She is board certified, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Texas Medical Association and Safe Kids.

We know that filling out forms can be time consuming, however, they are a required part of your child's care. For your convenience, we've provided patient information and consent forms here. Just print them out, fill in the information, sign them and bring the completed forms with you when you come in for your appointment.
