"I love what I do. I truly enjoy taking care of children. I try to make a difference in the lives of the people I serve. I treat my patients the same way I would treat my own children; and I treat everyone the same way I would like to be treated. I always take time to listen, examine my patients well, and explain to parents the diagnosis and the plan of care. Working at Northside Clinic is great! It's like a calling. I enjoy my patients and their families very much. And, our staff members are really nice and well prepared. A mother told me that her children cheer up when they know they will go to the clinic and see Dr. Grajeda – that makes me have the best of feelings."
Dr. Grajeda was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. Early in his childhood he knew he wanted to be a doctor. Always an excellent student he graduated first top of class of his undergraduate and medical schools. It was during his final year at med school that he realized that taking care of children was his passion.
His wife’s name is Rosa. They met during college where she was studying business. When he started his residency in pediatrics in San Juan, Puerto Rico, they already had 4 children. According to them "those were tough but really awesome years."
All family members are very active in their religious community. He served a mission for 2 years in Mexico.
Besides pediatrics, he enjoys family projects and activities. He always looks forward to attending his children's games and presentations. He loves basketball. His favorite movies are the ones based on real events. He really likes photography.
