#WeAreCookChildrens

As the world continues to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, there is no greater time to celebrate the care, dedication and compassion that our caregivers provide around the clock. Here’s to our front line heroes who don’t back down in the face of a crisis, to the people behind the scenes and those working at home to provide support to our patients, their families, our community, and each other. It’s no surprise that you step up when it matters most, and for that, we thank you.

Our caregivers, our heroes.

Heroes never shine a light on their own bravery. They don’t tell you about their courageous feats. And they never talk about the sacrifices they make. But we know who they are, and we’d like to share some of their stories with you.

Caring for the ones you love.

From the valet to the researcher, to those providing community health services, there’s one thing you can trust, they’re all working together for the one child that matters most—yours.

Out on the front lines.

When we opened our doors 102 years ago, we were a formidable force on the frontlines of the Spanish flu epidemic. Today our staff is still on the frontlines, and as strong as ever.

quote

Our staff members are heroes in my book for supporting our physicians and making sure our patients can still receive medical care. Not only are our regional clinic staff members dedicated to the communities they serve, but they are a part of these communities. By continuing to provide services to Cook Children’s specialty patients, they are truly fulfilling Cook Children’s Promise.

Stronger together

Here's to the men and women who stand on frontlines, those working at home to keep companies running and community workers helping to provide supplies and support to all. You are truly our heroes.
