My love for pediatrics started at a young age, as the oldest of seven children, I was always a natural caregiver for my younger siblings. My love for pediatrics continued through my medical career ending with the desire to be a pediatric anesthesiologist. Pediatric anesthesiology for me gives me a chance to meet and take care of my new "little siblings" and giving them back to their parents even better than they were before.

After completing my fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in 2014, I have been practicing pediatric anesthesiology. If there is anything that I have learned is that there is a lot of planning that comes into play the day a child is having surgery, and if I can help in anyway then I will try my best. I have a special interest in alleviating the pain of children during and after surgery. My dream is also to one day extend my care to pediatric patients globally and provide pediatric anesthesia for various mission trips.

When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family and traveling with our two kids. We have all been in the patient'?s shoes and it is a motivating factor to keep getting better in providing care for your child. Thank you for letting me be involved in the care of your loved ones.
