Meet Dr. Jane A. Keng
As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Keng believes the watchwords for effective diagnosis and successful treatment are persistence and perseverance. If a cause or solution is not found quickly or easily, the search for answers becomes the kind of challenge that Dr. Keng embraces.
Dr. Keng knew as a freshman in high school that she wanted to be a doctor. Through teaching Sunday school, she learned that she enjoyed working with children. So at an early age, the path to pediatrics was clear.
She has been active in Orphan Outreach, which gave her the opporutunity to visit northern India in both a medical and mission capacity. Her trip was only 10 days, but she wished it could have been longer. She didn't even mind the 12 hour bus ride, which was worth every minute when they arrived to a clinic of what Dr. Keng calls "the happiest children I have ever met."
She brings that same passion to caring for kids she sees at Cook Children's. In her office she has a collection of letters from former patients once in her care who have written to report on their progress. In her free time you'll find her in the garden planting, in the kitchen cooking or with her family simply relaxing.
Dr. Keng is a very thorough and compassionate doctor, who always take however much time it needs to answer questions and be very thorough in her instructions and explains all the results and the findings and her plan. She does an amazing job. – Patient family

Extremely good experience from parking facility to front staff being extremely welcoming to Nurse being compassionate and caring for my child to the Doctor she's amazing made everything clear and simple to understand gave me amazing tips and care plan for my child. 100% would return (we drove 2hrs) and would highly recommend CookChildren's made our first experience with yall and amazing professional one. The nurse and Dr were both so so so kind! I'm very appreciative of them. They noticed the bluey shirt my baby had on and gave her bluey stickers which made her so happy!
