Meet Dr. Amit Singh

I am a pediatric hospitalist attending which means I take care of children who require hospitalization for all sorts of reasons whether it be something simple or more complex. As a pediatric hospitalist I have a great passion for how patients and families experience their hospitalization and how as a physician I can impact and improve that experience. Not having any medical professionals in my family, I am also very passionate about how we communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and families during some of the most stressful times of their lives.

I am a native Texan born and raised in Dallas and spent a large part of my career in the San Francisco Bay Area but have returned to the DFW area and am excited to join the Cook Children's family! In my spare time I love to spend time with my wife and three young boys traveling, eating, and goofing off.
