Meet Dr. Bridget Swanson
Bridget Swanson, a member of the fightin' Texas Aggie class of 2007, joined the Cook Children's Hospitalist group in 2016 after completing her residency at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is enthusiastic about several areas of pediatrics, including development, nutrition, safety, and prevention.
Dr. Swanson's favorite thing about being a pediatrician is "our ability to form an alliance with parents to help their children grow to be healthy adults. It is our job to provide parents with the tools they need to provide be their child's best advocate and to provide a healthy environment for that child."
Dr. Swanson is married to a wonderful and supportive husband, who is also a pediatrician. When she is not at Cook Children's, Dr. Swanson enjoys reading, drawing, hiking, and traveling.
