Meet Dr. Sana Siddiqui-Yousufzai

My journey in pediatrics is rooted in both personal passion and a deep commitment to holistic patient care. Growing up in a bustling family with more than 30 cousins, I developed a love for children early on. That passion, combined with years of education and training, shaped my career in pediatric hospital medicine.

My educational path began at St. George's University in Grenada, followed by a pediatric residency at Cleveland Clinic Children's in Ohio. During training, I was drawn to multiple specialties but ultimately realized that viewing a child's health from a holistic perspective made hospital medicine the perfect fit. That realization led me to complete a pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at Phoenix Children's in Arizona, where I also earned an MBA with dual concentrations in management and healthcare from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management.

For four years, I worked at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, focusing on curriculum development and leading the fellowship recruitment program. My passion for pediatric hospital medicine extends to medical education, resource utilization, clinical research and the evolving world of value-based care.

I'm truly excited to join the Cook Children's Prosper team and contribute to the well-being of the children in our care.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and daughter, exploring Dallas' vibrant culinary scene and traveling to new destinations.
