Meet Dr. Wasie Iqbal

Wasie Iqbal, M.D., has been a practicing pediatrician for 7 years. For 5 of those years he worked in the ER as a Pediatric ED attending as well as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Jefferson Washington Township in New Jersey. He was then promoted to Chief of Pediatrics where he lead the Pediatric ER department, Pediatric Hospitalist service as well as the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the same hospital.

The best part of his job is interacting with his patients, their families and involving them in the decision making process, and taking care to make sure all their questions are answered.
He completed his Pediatrics training at Arkansas Children's Hospital in his home town of Little Rock, Arkansas and is excited to return to the South to be closer to family and friends.

He loves spending his free time out and about with his wife and two young kids hoping to make a habit of traveling long distances once the kids get a little older.
