Hi, I'm Dr. Korff. I grew up always wanting to be a doctor. With a nurse for a mother and a pharmacist for a grandfather, I was surrounded by strong examples of compassion and dedication to patient care. Their influence inspired me to become the first physician in my family.
During my medical training, I initially envisioned myself caring for adults in a clinic setting. However, I quickly discovered that the patients who stayed on my mind were the youngest ones. I fell in love with caring for babies in the hospital, and that passion led me to pursue a career in neonatal medicine. The babies captured my heart — and they've never let go!
I love the challenges and rewards of caring for critically ill newborns, from managing complex conditions to celebrating their growth and journey home. Equally important to me is supporting families and caregivers through their NICU experience, ensuring they feel informed and included every step of the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs, being outdoors and pretending to cook.
