Meet Dr. Brittney Pryor Craig

Born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Dr. Brittney Pryor Craig has always been a small-town girl with big dreams. She remembers scrawling her name and the word "doctor" on her very first homemade, crayon-laden, construction paper business card at age 5. Growing up, she admired the kind pediatric physicians she encountered and aspired to be among them. From Arkansas, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated from Emory University with a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology.

Dr. Pryor Craig attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. She naturally gravitated toward the specialty of Pediatric Neurology, where her interest in the neurological sciences and passion for helping children intertwined. Dr. Pryor Craig was recognized as an American Medical Association (AMA) Foundation Minority Scholar and received the specially designated Ronald M. Davis, M.D., Memorial Scholarship. This award honored her commitment to the elimination of health care disparities, her outstanding academic achievements, leadership activities and community involvement.

While completing her Pediatric Neurology residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Pryor Craig found that many of her patients also experienced sleep concerns and she became intrigued by the complexities of sleep disorders. This inspired her to pursue a fellowship in Sleep Medicine which she also completed at UT Southwestern.

In her spare time, Dr. Pryor Craig loves spending quality moments with her wonderful husband and two children, extended family, and friends. She enjoys reading fantasy and fiction novels, cooking, volunteering, and practicing mindfulness. She is keen on travel and learning about different cultures.

Dr. Pryor Craig is devoted to helping children heal by providing skilled, compassionate and individualized care.

    Dr. Pryor Craig, her nurse, and the office staff are all so patient and kind. Dr Pryor Craig listens to our concerns and develops a plan for us to follow to Improve our son's health. She follows up on each concern at subsequent visits.

    Sweet lab lady and I am sorry I forgot her name but she was so sweet and caring and help my daughter who was very anxiety about having her blood drawn. She was in the first room to the right when you walked in. Wish I remember her name. She was very kind and very good at her job.Also Dr. Pryor-Craig was so sweet and caring. She really made my daughter feel confrontable and cared about. Dr. Pryor-Craig was a breathe of fresh air. She listened and never made us feel like she was too busy or in a hurry. She sat and gave us her full attention. Very thankful for her!
