Meet Dr. Megan Liberty

Hi, I'm Dr. Liberty. I'm a board-certified pediatrician with fellowship training in pediatric sports medicine. I specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of sports-related injuries in children and adolescents, with a particular focus on young dancers and performing artists.

Combining my medical expertise with a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts as a former ballet dancer, I bring a unique perspective to the care of dancers. I understand the physical demands and psychological pressures of dance training and performance, and am passionate about helping young athletes maintain both peak performance and long-term health.

I have experience working with a wide range of youth athletes, from competitive gymnasts and soccer players to pre-professional ballet dancers. I work closely with physical therapists, athletic trainers and dance instructors to create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that emphasize injury prevention, safe return to activity, and long-term musculoskeletal wellness.

I'm an advocate for movement education, injury awareness and healthy training practices, and frequently give community talks and workshops on topics such as dance injury prevention, cross-training and growth-related injuries in youth athletes.

When not in the clinic, I enjoy attending dance performances, staying active and spending time with my husband and two daughters.
