Meet Dr. Priyank Yagnik
Right from medical school in India, I enjoyed caring for kids. The best part of caring for kids is you can just be a kid and still can take care of them. I chose Pediatric Critical Care because I can be involved in their care at the weakest/riskiest portion of their lives and can make a meaningful impact in the high-stress environment. The resilience children exhibit with their mind, body and soul is just phenomenal, and I get to experience that every day.
I have been practicing Pediatric Critical Care since 2012. The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping families make decision at the most critical time in their lives. This job teaches me that soothing words and genuine care can make parents and children so much comfortable even in life and death situations.
When not at work, my wonderfully supportive wife and I enjoy exploring outdoor parks with our two daughters. I also enjoy cooking Indian dishes, of course with help of my wife!
