Meet Dr. Christina Leung

Growing up, I saw my father, a family physician, establish his practice in West Texas. I witnessed first-hand how immensely satisfying and intellectually challenging being a doctor could be. I felt drawn to children and parents, knowing all parents, regardless of background or situation, are always looking ahead for their children, hoping to help them develop and mature into their best selves.

After graduating from the University of Dallas in Irving, I completed my medical training at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. I was honored to be accepted by Baylor College of Medicine and completed my pediatrics residency at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. For almost a decade, I worked at Texas Children's Pediatric Associates in Friendswood. Since relocating to the DFW area to be close to family, I have such a gratitude for serving the HEB community the past 10 years. I'm passionate about continually understanding, collaborating with and learning about my families.

My husband and I have two energetic, playful boys, and extensive family in the area. I'm often seen at soccer games, Suzuki music lessons and concerts. I'm a classic music aficionado, having grown up playing piano, violin and singing. I'm also an avid reader (enjoy biographical and historical stories), am a yoga devotee and have recently discovered knitting.

I would like to recognize Dr. Leung. She was very patient, very loving and very kind to my grandson, answered every question we had. She was very informative with his care and offered suggestions. I don't see her that often but every time I do come and she checks my grandson out, she's very thorough and very thoughtful and very friendly. I really appreciate doctors that would go that extra mile and take interest in my grandchild as if it was their own, so lots of kudos to Dr. Leung. – Patient family

    Dr. Leung has been our family pediatrician for more than 26 years. She's as thorough as can be and sends us to appropriate specialists who think like her. Every visit is "new," meaning she doesn't have the stereo typical answers. She thinks outside the box. She spends the time listening and answering. She never rushes us. I absolutely love Dr. Leung!

    We weren't there for the flu shot, but I inquired about it and they arranged for my child to get it very quickly. They had a referral sent out and the therapy dept called the next day to get started. Very efficient.
