I was born and raised in the Dallas area, spending most of my childhood in Rowlett. I always knew I wanted to work with children, but it was the influence of my own pediatrician, along with my growing curiosity about the medical field, that led me to become "a doctor for kids." Having seen the same physician throughout my childhood and adolescence, I understand the unique and special bond that develops between a child, their parents and their physician.

With my sights set on becoming a pediatrician, I studied biology and Spanish as an undergraduate at Southern Methodist University. I then earned my master's degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, where I continued at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete my medical degree in 2018. For my internship and residency, I ventured to New Orleans and had the privilege of completing my pediatric training at Louisiana State University. I'm a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I especially enjoy the aspects of pediatrics that focus on preventive health care, growth and development, and childhood safety.

Since completing my residency, I'm thrilled to be back in my hometown. After spending time as a medical student rotating through Cook Children's in Fort Worth, this feels like a full-circle moment. I greatly valued my time at Starside Pediatrics and am grateful for the opportunity to continue providing care for children in the Frisco area at Cook Children's in Parkwood. I love building relationships with my patients and their families and look forward to being a familiar face as my patients grow and develop.

After my time in New Orleans, I'm excited to spend more time with family and friends. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cooking and baking and trying new restaurants.
