Meet Dr. Jenica Rose-Stine

When she was only 8 years old, Jenica Rose-Stine announced to her parents that she wanted to become a pediatrician. Today, she can truly say she has her dream job.

She loves working and living in a wonderful community, where she takes care of her children's classmates and gets to be an advocate for children's health right in her own backyard.

"Watching my community's children grow up has been a great joy for me, and I hope someday I will take care of those children's kids. I have two active children of my own, and I really enjoy the conversations with my patient families as we raise our kids together. I think of it as an on-going conversation we will be having for the next eighteen years."

Dr. Rose-Stine joined the Cook Children's Willow Park practice in 2008. She is a TCU Horned Frog, where she was a Chancellor's Scholar, and a graduate of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. She completed her pediatric residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas.

Dr. Rose-Stine has been voted a Top Doc annually in Fort Worth Magazine for a decade and has appeared on ABC's Good Morning Texas. She sits on the Cook Children's Quality Improvement committee and volunteers with the Pythian Home in Weatherford. She is an adjunct professor of clinical pediatrics for the medical school and participates in medical school education. She is enthusiastic about several areas of pediatrics including development, safety and prevention, and nutrition, and she thoroughly enjoys her interactions with first-time parents and their newborns.

Dr. Rose-Stine's husband, Matthew Stine, is a family physician in Willow Park. The couple met in college and married in medical school. They live in Aledo with their daughter and son. Dr. Rose-Stine enjoys being outdoors, planning travel adventures with her family, reading, spin cycling and chocolate.

Dr. Jenica Rose-Stine is an amazing pediatrician. There is no one else I'd trust the care of my child to. Our oldest is a bit more complicated to parent, and Dr. Rose-Stine is there with us, every step of the way, helping us brainstorm and navigate our journey with him. I feel that she really knows him and his history and always makes sure we collaborate on a plan and are on the same page as to how to move forward.
