Hi there! I'm Dr. Babu. My journey to pediatrics began early, with a childhood curiosity that turned into a lifelong calling, growing stronger with every experience-babysitting, volunteering at pediatric hospitals, and supporting kids at church events. But the moment I knew, without a doubt, came during medical school. After weeks of caring for adults, I saw a baby being wheeled down the hospital hallway and it changed everything for me. In that small moment, I knew: if I couldn't take care of children, it wasn't for me.

I'm a proud middle daughter of three girls, raised in Dallas by two extraordinary parents whose love and work ethic shaped the person and doctor I am today. After medical school in San Antonio and residency in Houston, I knew it was time to come back home. There's just something special about DFW-it holds my heart.

Pediatrics brings me so much joy-whether it's hearing a child say how much they love to see me, seeing new parents finally relax after their worries are eased, or having a teenager open up and trust me as they find their way through life. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. I get to walk alongside families, celebrate milestones, calm worries, and help little ones grow into healthy, confident individuals. Words fall short, but I know this: I get to build lifelong connections, empower kids to care for their health, and be a steady guide for families when they need it most. It's more than a job-it's a privilege.

Outside of work, you'll find me with family and friends-whether it's at game night, painting pottery, or playing pickleball. Wherever they are, that's where I'm happiest.
