Dr. Denny was born and raised in the Fort Worth area, spending most of her childhood in Aledo, TX, and graduating from Aledo High School. She received her medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed her residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine/Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. After completing her residency, she spent time caring for patients in Oklahoma. After spending her years of formal education and training and work experience in various parts of the United States (from Oklahoma to Dallas to Chicago), she's excited to be back near her roots.

From the beginning of her training, she was drawn to pediatrics. She remains in awe of how the developmental stages and ages of children play a role in diagnosing and treating them, all while being impressed by the resiliency of children. It's her desire to create a safe and welcoming space for her patients and their families, aiming to work with families to deliver quality health care. Engaging with families and developing a trusting doctor/patient relationship is important to her. In the end, her goal is to participate in creating happy, healthy families.

Outside of the clinic she enjoys spending time with her blended family with her husband, two amazing kids and two dogs. They can often be found going on walks/hikes together and exploring new places.
