Hi! I'm Dr. Naima Garrett, a compassionate pediatrician excited to welcome new and returning families to Cook Children's Pediatrics in Lake Worth. Originally from Southern California, I earned my medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. During medical school, I joined the U.S. Army, which led me to complete my general pediatrics residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. In 2021, I moved to Texas to serve as an active-duty pediatrician at Fort Cavazos, formerly Fort Hood.
Now living in Fort Worth, I enjoy Pilates, biking, exploring local restaurants, and camping with my family. I'm passionate about providing family-centered care and building strong connections with my patients. I'm also working on strengthening my fluency in Spanish to better serve my community.
I look forward to welcoming patients and their families to Cook Children's and helping children thrive at every stage of development.
