Meet Dr. Nessa Philip

The best part of my job is being able to see children grow through all of their early life stages, from a newborn to a teenager. It's so rewarding to progress from providing guidance to new parents to developing trusting and long-lasting relationships with the whole family.

Growing up in the DFW area, I always had a deep interest in science, including biology and public health. I truly value the opportunity I have to care for individual children while maintaining a wider view of what is going on in the community as a whole. I pursued my medical education at UT Southwestern Medical School and completed my pediatric residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I was excited to return to the DFW area to practice as a primary care pediatrician.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and extended family. My hobbies include long walks with my dog, gardening, hiking, trying new restaurants, catching up on my favorite shows and reading good books.
