Meet Dr. Pavan Bang
My journey into pediatrics started early, shaped by having a father who was a pediatrician and growing up in a close-knit small town in southern Alabama. But perhaps most importantly, in today's world, children constantly remind me to find joy and happiness in every moment, and they help me stay grounded in my most important duty as a doctor: to remain empathetic.
I've had the privilege of calling many places home. I grew up in Alabama, went to college at Emory University in Georgia, and then took a leap across the world to attend medical school at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University in India. My residency brought me back to familiar territory at the University of South Alabama, where I further honed my skills in pediatrics. After spending four years in New Jersey, I am now excited to be back in the South, where my journey began, and to build lasting relationships with the families I care for, while also establishing a new home.
In my practice, I see myself as a confidant for your family. It's important to me that our relationship is built on trust, communication, and collaboration. Just like a family member, I hope to have open discussions, always be easily accessible, and work with you to find solutions that are best for your children.
When I can find some free time, I'm either tending to my plants, enjoying the timeless sounds of my favorite classic rock musicians, or tinkering with the newest tech gadgets. I also love exploring new restaurants and different cuisines, always eager to try something new. If you have any favorite spots, I'd love to hear about them!
I look forward to becoming a part of your family's journey, sharing in the joys, challenges, and milestones that lie ahead. I'm excited to work with you to keep your children healthy and happy, and I can't wait to see you in the office!

We saw Dr. Pavan Bang while our regular pediatrician was on vacation, and it turned out to be a great experience. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made both me and my son feel comfortable. My son usually gets a bit shy during exams, especially with female doctors, but he felt much more relaxed this time. We truly appreciated Dr. Bang's calm and respectful approach. Thank you!

The reception staff was the nicest I think I've ever dealt with. I have 3 kids, 2 have a history of health problems. So we have seen lots of receptionist. This was the first time ever that we were greeted with such happiness and helpfulness. We are brand new, so I needed help with things and they were all beyond friendly and helpful! The Dr and his nurse were also great! Very happy we found this location.
