Meet Dr. Poonam Kaza
"I believe that each and every child is unique and l would like to help them in their unique way. My goal is to make a difference in one child at a time. I am a firm believer that through conversation and communication I can discuss and deliver evidence-based medicine and help my patients and their families in their health concerns and challenges. In order to continue with my beliefs and to provide the best care for my patients I continue to educate myself on the latest recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics and by attending national conferences."
Dr. Poonam Kaza, MD MPH FAAP is a graduate of SVS Medical College, India. She obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with emphasis on Health Promotion from Northern Illinois University. She completed her pediatric residency training at BronxCare Health System, NYC in 2015. She is a board certified pediatrician. She has a special interest in health promotion and preventative medicine. After graduating, she worked in California, Illinois and NY.
Dr. Kaza, in her free time, loves to spend time with her husband and daughter. They enjoy traveling on their time off. She loves to read and cook.

Dr. Kaza is literally the most incredible clinician we have ever had! She's responsive, kind, her bedside manner is unmatched, and I genuinely feel like she cares about our daughter. Our daughter is obsessed with her as well and LOVES coming to the doctor just so she can see her!!! We also love all her nurses and care team- they are just hands down a phenomenal team!
