Hi, I'm Dr. Alford. I'm a fellowship-trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Cook Children's Medical Center, specializing in Pediatric and Craniofacial Surgery and the comprehensive care of children with congenital and acquired craniofacial conditions. As a Fort Worth native, I'm proud to serve the community where I was raised.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with honors and induction into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. I went on to receive my medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center, where I was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. I completed my integrated plastic surgery residency at the UCLA, followed by a craniofacial surgery fellowship at UCLA, one of the nation's premier programs for pediatric and craniofacial plastic surgery.

My clinical expertise includes all aspects of pediatric plastic surgery, with a particular focus on craniosynostosis, comprehensive cleft lip and palate care, ear reconstruction (including MedPor techniques), orthognathic surgery, virtual surgical planning and rhinoplasty.

I've authored multiple academic publications and have presented my work at national conferences. My research interests include studying imaging technology, and improving surgical precision and outcomes through virtual surgical planning.
