Meet Dr. Fijula Pokkasrakath

Dr. Pokkasrakath is a board certified pediatrician and fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. Originally from South India, she graduated from The Govt Medical College, Kozhikode, Kerala and then came to United States with her husband. Dr. Pokkasrakath completed her pediatric residency from Nassau University Medical Center, New York. Afterwards, she joined Cook Children's Urgent Care in 2013. Dr. Pokkasrakath is fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu and working to improve her Spanish language skills. Outside of medicine, she enjoys sewing, reading and gardening.
