Meet Dr. Jiny Coronado

Dr. Coronado knew from a young age that she wanted to work with children. She loves the positive energy, joy, and silliness that children bring. When she decided to pursue a career in medicine, she knew from the beginning that she wanted to be a pediatrician.

Dr. Coronado grew up in Plano. She went to UTMB medical school in Galveston and did her residency with UT at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. After spending a few years in Houston, she is happy to be back home in the DFW area.

Dr. Coronado loves working in the urgent care and providing care to sick children when they are unable to get in with their pediatrician. She enjoys seeing injuries and keeping families out of the busy ER whenever possible.

In her free time, Dr. Coronado volunteers at the animal shelter as much as possible. She loves to travel and spend time with her family and her dog.
