Families in need don't always know where to go for available non-emergency health and human services in their community. School nurses play a key role in helping students and families find and access community resources. Cook Children's is pleased to provide you with documents and websites to assist you in that role. Go to Student and Family Resources.
The Cook Children's School Nurse Advisory Council was created in collaboration with area school health providers to improve the health of every child in our region through the prevention and treatment of illness, disease, and injury. The school nurse advisory council meets on a biannual basis, if you are interested in participating, please contact Breanna.Anderson@cookchildrens.org.
