Edwin G. Schwarz Health Sciences Library

Cook Children's Edwin G. Schwarz Library photo

The Edwin G. Schwarz Health Sciences Library at Cook Children's maintains a current collection of print and electronic knowledge resources. Four health sciences librarians and a pediatric clinical nurse specialist actively strengthen patient care, clinical research, and education by providing timely and relevant information and resources in support of evidence-based practice and research.

Library privileges are extended to all CCHS employees, healthcare providers with admitting or clinical privileges, and students while on a rotation. Patients and their families, other students, and the community are invited to visit the Matustik Family Health Library.

Library Services

  • Customized literature searches
Whether you are too busy, want to get the benefit of the Librarians’ skills and expertise, or are simply checking that you haven’t missed anything, we can perform searches for you.
  • Document Delivery / Interlibrary Loan
Use our document delivery service to get the full-text of articles delivered to your email address. If we don’t have the article you need, we can order it from our partner libraries.
