When you think about the word “legendary” and Fort Worth, two things come to mind: the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and Cook Children’s. Since 2014, the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo has hosted “Cook Children’s Day,” a special occasion when half the proceeds from rodeo ticket sales benefit Cook Children's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

"There isn’t a more deserving organization to support than Cook Children’s,” said Stock Show President and General Manager Brad Barnes. “Helping make a difference in the lives of these children and their families is one of our biggest highlights of each Stock Show year after year."

The NICU at Cook Children’s in Fort Worth was such a blessing in our family’s life after the birth of our sweet Cole. They focused on taking care of the entire family in addition to our newborn son and that kind of care did not go unnoticed. They were truly a God-send and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
