Hi, I'm Elizabeth! As a new nurse in 2004, I felt I had found my place in life caring for newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit. I most enjoyed working with families as they navigated the overwhelming emotions and decisions that come with a new baby, and unfortunately at times a sick baby. With time, I grew curious to learn past the newborn phase and into the complex health of a growing child. In 2008, I graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and became licensed as a nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric primary care. I continue to study and learn each day because medicine, health and wellness are constantly changing, as are a growing child's health needs. I am committed to managing illnesses and diseases that children face through evidence-based guidelines. Feeling the trust parents have in me with their child is the most rewarding experience of all, and it is also the highest responsibility of my job.
I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I feel blessed and honored to be the mother of three growing teenagers and the wife of a supportive husband. Their love makes me happier than they will ever know. My family and I recently moved to Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2025. I look forward to exploring hiking trials and lakes this area offers.
