I earned my bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University in 2007, where I was a competitive swimmer for four years. After gaining experience as a nurse in both adult and pediatric care, I earned my master's degree as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. I joined Cook Children's Pediatrics at Willow Park upon graduation in 2013.<br /><br /> I've received the Clinical Excellence in Pediatrics Award from UTA three times and am a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. I enjoy building relationships with families and have a special interest in breastfeeding promotion and nutrition for all ages. I also have a passion for caring for young athletes and helping them stay in top condition.<br /><br /> My husband, Sam, is an emergency room physician, and we live in Fort Worth with our four children.
