She completed her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Texas Children's hospital in Houston, Texas. During this time she found herself increasingly interested in continuing to care for these cardiac patients as they grow up into adulthood and so decided to complete an adult congenital cardiology fellowship also at Texas Children's Hospital.
