Meet Dr. Michael Foreman
Before I became a pediatric gastroenterologist, I was a patient in the pediatric gastroenterology clinic. I was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease when I was six years old and - despite struggles early on in the course - soon began to passionately pursue a career as a physician.
Today, I am proud to be a husband, a father of three, a son, and a pediatric gastroenterologist. I have the unique experience of now getting to practice alongside the man who served as my own pediatric gastroenterologist! I consider myself incredibly lucky for his friendship and mentorship throughout my career. I am also very grateful for the love and support of my family and other colleagues as I chased my dream!
I enjoy serving my community as a general pediatric gastroenterologist, and take special interest in inflammatory bowel diseases, but also any chronic intestinal disease that may inflict a child - both inflammatory and non-inflammatory. Through my training, I also developed my expertise in clinical informatics and optimization of electronic medical records.
In my spare time I enjoy playing with my three children (Barbies, Pokémon, and coloring are our current favorites!), taking my wife to a musical, playing tennis, and investing in friendships. If you happen to see me enjoying some quiet time, I'm likely to be reading the Bible or listening to - or sometimes playing - almost any kind of music.
