Meet Dr. Samantha Severson

Samantha Severson, D.O., is a pediatric hospitalist with a specialized focus on children's behavioral health. With a robust educational background and extensive experience, Dr. Severson is committed to advancing pediatric care and fostering a holistic approach to children's health.

Dr. Severson grew up in Grapevine TX, going on to Oklahoma State University for her undergraduate training where she graduated with Honors. From there she earned her medical degree at UNT Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine here in Fort Worth. She went on to complete her residency in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine/ Texas Children's Hospital where she was selected to stay and further her training through a fellowship in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

Dr. Severson is excited to be back in her hometown, bringing with her a rich background in medical education and clinical practice. She has been recognized for her contributions to teaching, research, as well as advocacy for improved pediatric care, especially for those with mental and behavioral health concerns.

She and her husband, also a Fort Worth native, have one daughter and enjoy their time off traveling and being outdoors, especially at the lake.
