Meet Dr. Bhavana Babber
I grew up in Maryland, right outside of Washington, D.C. At just 5 years old, I knew I wanted to be a doctor and I worked hard to turn that childhood dream a reality.
I attended the University of Maryland in College Park, Md., before going on to medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. After completing my pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, I spent the next decade in Houston at Texas Children's Pediatrics. I also had the opportunity to serve as a medical director for Texas Children's Health Plan for nearly three years. My family then moved to Frisco, where I've worked as a pediatrician since 2022.
As an active member of the Texas Pediatric Society, I am passionate about delivering exceptional care to children of all ages. My clinical interests include newborn and infant care, asthma management, adolescent health, ADHD and mental health.
Outside of medicine, I'm a proud mom to two wonderful children - my 13-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter. I love spending time with my family, whether we're volunteering together through Lion's Heart, traveling, or enjoying the outdoors. I also enjoy visiting local schools to share my passion for pediatrics and hopefully inspire the next generation of pediatricians.
