Accepting new patients
Choosing pediatrics was an EASY choice for me. Pediatrics was the only specialty that I looked forward to seeing my patients each morning and checking in on them at the end of the day. I am drawn to their constant source of energy, how easily engaging they are, and admire their resilience. Being a pediatrician has been a great pleasure and I look forward to establishing long lasting relationships with my patients and their families.
I was born and raised in the great city of Houston, Texas and attended Baylor University for my undergraduate degree. I completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and returned to Texas to complete my pediatric training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. I worked in Northern Virginia, at a private practice and found the most joy reassuring parents of newborns, singing songs with rambunctious toddlers, and having heart to heart talks with teens.
I spend my free time having dance sessions with my two toddlers, reading a good book, and listening to music – especially Beyonce. I can easily be bribed with a Reese's Cup and start each day with Starbucks!
